No, you needn't creat new folder for mp3 files except you have too many songs and want to manage them by categories belong to each folder.
Than's to say, if you creat a folder inside the /modules/mod_a_player directory, you must include this new folder in the path for the mp3 file in the xml file.
Well, if only several songs, you just put them in /modules/mod_a_player directory. And edit the xml file following the example inside it.
